shameless self-promotion at a local coffee shop kiddie corner after drinking a $3.59 iced chai latte despite the sub-40 degree temperature and the Christmas music and having already spent $17 dollars that night on a series of no longer tangible purchases despite their apparently corporate American origins (i.e. consumables and event pricing). I had to stand aside from the line at a soccer game to wait for the ticket lady to get more one dollar bills because I was trying to pay with a $20 dollar bill. I began speaking at a medium volume with an irritated undertone about how I should get in free for this woman not being prepared.
